Roasted some of these tonight.
Great looking bean, few interesting points:
1. It is bloo*y freezing in Melbourne today so wondered how that would all go given it was 12 in the shed. No noticeable difference.
2. Chaff didnt start to blow in great abundance until they hit first crack, found that unusual, normally get a fairly even distribution through to end of first crack, didnt really start until first crack which was around 8 minutes. (18% weight loss)
3. Once they hit first crack darkened in a hurry and went to about a 9 on CS card.
4. First snaps of second crack at 13 and pulled them at 13 50 seconds before start of rolling second crack.
5. They are a 10 on CS card. I am used to beans going well into rolling second crack to get this dark so will be very interested to taste them.
Anybody else roasted or tasted any yet?
