Used to be able to get a card that had various bean roast level colours on it. These were numbered and as it was a coffeesnobs card the numbers were referred to as CS numbers.
No longer available unfortunately.

explanation of CS1- CS? roast levels please
Hi everyone,
being new and not yet having progressed to doing a roast just yet, I have been trying to find a description or definition or explanation of what the CS(insert number here) different roast levels are. I have seen references to City roast, city roast+, etc on other websites and youtube videos. Did a search but nothing obvious comes up. I was expecting a sticky thread that might pop up after a search, but nothing so far. Maybe I am not using the correct phrase in my search, but if anyone knows where the link is, I would appreciate being led by the nose to it.
Thanks.Tags: None
