Interesting, I had exactly the same issue on my Kogan air fryer (see my post about it). Must be a common problem. I was able to get round the issue by cutting the plastic off the motor shaft and using a socket from a socket set for the same purpose. My only concern is that this might cause the motor to overheat!

Hey for what it's worth don't bother. No problems with the roasting. Does that part OK actually. Where it goes pear shaped is the bushing for the drum skewer which is actually plastic !!! Mine stripped after 4 roasts.

Gave up and bought a Behmor from beanbay which should be here soon !

    Yep, agree Steve...
It's why I included the Italic. - "cage that might be Ok for roasting"

You're right Mal, I didn't notice the rotisserie cage but it appears to lack the agitation vanes like the Behmor has so still might end up with an uneven roast. The other question is whether it can produce adequate temperature

It has a rotisserie cage that might be Ok for roasting coffee but reckon I'd go for a 'fit for purpose' Behmor rather than play around with something like this...

I haven't but I have read that others have tried and failed. Not sure about this model but many report that the beans don't reach second crack and there's no means of agitating the beans to ensure an even roast. Save yourself $14.95 + p&h and stick to the tried and trusted methods.

Hey guys has anyone tried or looked at the air roster advertised on tv? It's not advertised as a coffee roaster but more for food etc but looks like has all the foundation for roasting beans.. I'll post Link to the machine.
