Don't think it will ever happen.
Early prototypes of the software had it and it was way too messy and cluttered, even worse on small "netbook" screens that had trouble with overlapping.
You have live number for the temperature and time under the graph, and as I said, with enough use the squares are pretty obvious.

Thanks for the reply. Would it be possible to have actual numbers at the X and Y axes displayed For example X-axes 1min, 2min and so on OR at the Y-axes 20C, 40C and so on

Added to that...
Using the default configuration the time is 0-30 minutes and the temperature is 0-300C
Each small square is 1 minute wide and 20C high.
Each bolder square is 5 minutes wide and 100C high.
With use it's really easy to look and see 3 x bold wide (=15min)
