Thanks for that, I think I can gauge the colour without the card myself, I’ve got a good idea what I’m doing.

The scale actually goes from 1 to 12 where 1 is green (raw) and 12 is black (chuck them in the bin).

What is CS
OK, I've been reading lots of threads here trying to get a grasp of things before I delve into actually burning some beans. I see lots of references to CSx (where x is a number usually 7-10) I'm guessing it's something to do with roast temp, time, or colour maybe ?Tags: None
