  • Columbian Supremo in BM ?

Hi, Ive been doing a bit of roasting with good & bad results, I found the ITM in the starter pack very nice but have found the Columbian S a bit harder, the first roast I pulled at 5-10 sec into SC & the taste is OK but with a strange dry on the tongue after taste. Ive roasted a second batch a bit further into SC to compare (havent tried it yet). Has anyone got any tips on roasting times in BM ?

Columbians generally need to be pulled well before 2nd crack. They are generally one of the lightest roasted beans around.

A lot of Brazil varieties prefer this approach as well.... 8-)

Nothing light about the body though -- fantastic viscosity.
