    Im a newbie about to start a roast with a b&d popper should i make any mods prior to the first run if so which ones i live in perth with cold nights and warm dat at the moment

    any advice will be taken on board

      Welcome to Coffee Snobs.

      Roast at night.
      The cold should help prolong the roast times.

      A chimney would be good so you can fit in a few more beans and help with the airflow.

      Try to start with a 100g batch and see how it goes.

      You wont know how your popper behaves until you get the first roast under your belt.

            The next Bean Bay is soon.

            Get in quick and buy a lot.

            Im down to less than 70kg so dont worry about buying say 5kg for yourself.
