Me too. I was into European Pilsners and Lagers. Nothing like all grain brewing. Made up a sprinkler sparging system and a copper tubing cooling system but I havent brewed for  about 18 mths. Been into marine invertabrate aquariums and now Ive been caught by the roasting, brewing and drinking of coffee bug, and who knows what hobby I will be challenged with next. Yeah it all seems to be a challenge with me.

    Thanks Java!

We bought a Ryobi 2000W HG yesterday and have procured a breadmaker... just trying to manufacture a neat bench/HG stand/cooling device unit that all fits together, looks good and works well. Well be posting pics when we build it.

    Cheers
    Stuart.

    How-to Guide for Corretto

    Gday all,

Ive been stung by the urge to start roasting (I only came to CS by accident... now Ive ordered the starter pack and Im shopping for a heat gun!). Very exciting to try a new hobby - Ive been obsessively into brewing beer from grain and hops for the last 4 years (Im sure others here are also home brewers - I reckon thered be a crossover) - but hadnt succumbed to home roasting until now...

Anyway, Ive been searching in vain for a good "How-to" guide for setting up a Corretto roaster that me and my coffee-loving mates want to build. Where is the original thread? Or can anyone point me to a good (pictorial) guide to setting one up. I know, theres heaps on YouTube and the odd piece of info in recent Corretto threads, but nothing "definitive" that Ive come across.

Maybe its self-evident and Im merely showing my ignorance when it comes to anything involving tools, but I thought Id ask!
    Cheers
    Stuart.
