  • Indonesian Sumatran Mandheling  - our thoughts

I had some Sumatran tonight that was roasted to med Brown with the oil only just showing and must say that I liked the espresso very much and my nearest and dearest enjoyed her Flat white as well. Both of us found that it wasnt acidic and had a very pleasant aroma slightly floraly and an OK crema. Our little 3yo pinched a sip of Dads Espresso and he pointed to the cup and reapeated Coffee Yum Yums (mind you it was only a little sip... Not over keen on the little onse having it) next thing I had the other 3 pinching a sip and they all agreed that indeed it was very good..... So according to six members of this family of Snobs the Sumatran gets a well earned 8.5.

    Nice purchase Rich & Rae

Come on guys give us some thoughts about your Coffees!

Its probably our favourite and we get bucket loads of crema a whole shot of crema. This ones well worth trying about 2.5 hours after roasting as a shot.
