There are a few threads on the modding the Behmor over on Home Barista that show people's efforts to do similar things. There's probably something in one of the old threads here too.

beanthere21 can probably comment with much more authority (owns a 1600)

That’s what I was thinking. Good point about a powerful van though, pulling heat from the machine.

Seems that anything over 2.5m needs a fan to get the fumes outside. Not too powerful though cos it can lower the temperature in the roaster. Just wondering if Behmor have a FB page where you can message other 1600 owners. Aillio have one for their Bullet and owners share their venting set ups. For what it's worth, sealing the pipe onto the machine is not generally recommended due to potential build up of moisture.

    Behmor 1600 with Exhaust Mod

    Hi All,
What exhaust modifications have members done to extract smoke outside?

I am taking delivery of my machine this week, and would like to set it up in my under house/wine cellar area however I would like to vent the smoke outside.

Was thinking an in-line fan with ducting, but really keen to see what other members have done.
Working...
