Michel I roasted some Almonds in my popper, they turned out fantastic. Much better than shop roasted ones. They had a far more intense flavour.

I seem to remember reading a hilarious story somewhere on the web from someone who did exactly that (poured water into their grinder).

Darn -- now Im going to have to try to find it again...

I a can nearly relate to your "water in the grinder" but the opposite.

I couple of times i have had to stop myself from pouring beand into the water tank of the giotto. Each time i have been sprung by the war department who just shakes her head.

Yeah, Im confused. I got a coffee machine that flushes, nuts on handles, heat guns making coffee, bread makers roasting nuts, thermo thingies coupling....

What do I do with the grinder again, and where do I pour the water into it?

    Roasting Almonds in Corretto

Managed to roast some almonds in my corretto the other day! It was very successful with a nice consistent colour, flavour. Didnt quite get colour up to the SC scale but did manage to get some cracks occurring.

Has anyone else roasted nuts or anything else in their corretto?
Working...
