    Hi everyone, any advice on how to get the most from Yemen Hamasil Village in a Behmor 1600AB?

    My default is to preheat 3 minutes, go as hot as possible (manual P5) until first crack, then P4, then hit cooling when second crack starts. Then cool as quickly as possible by removing the tray, leaving the door partly open, vacuum, and dump when B temp drops to 60c.

    I have tried a few different things. What worked best for me was 350g using 400 P1 start. Then going to P5 at 10 mins. At rolling first crack i drop to P3 , hit C, then hit cool with a minute left on the clock. No sign of second crack. I have previously tried P2 at the start, not going to P5 at 10 mins, going to P2/P4 after resetting, going darker, found the above worked well, had good body in the shot while avoiding roast flavours that going darker had.       thanks Denki, I've tried a few roasting recipes now (all at 250gm) and the results are underwhelming to say the least
