Re: Buying green beans on the North Coast
Don’t know
I only spoke to him on the phone
What I do know is that he has the nursery
and a manufacturing arm for coffee harvesting and processing machinery
He may want to sell one to concentrate on the other?

Re: Buying green beans on the North Coast
Every time over the past 2 years I have passed their plantation on the way to indulge in a bit of beach with the in-laws in Ballina, Ive noticed a "for sale" sign out the front ... a fairly long time for a business up for sale methinks.Originally posted by Koffee Kosmo link=1217458278/0#2 date=1217466341I have spoken to Mr Zentfeld when I was doing some research on growing coffee trees for another CS post
They also have a nursery so you can pick up a few plants to grow while you are there

Whats the deal there KK? :-?

Re: Buying green beans on the North Coast
Gday Nick ...Originally posted by espressolover link=1217458278/0#0 date=1217458278... just wondering if any css know where I could buy some green beans on the North Coast?...
I noticed from another of your posts that youre in Alstonville.
Im not too sure whether they retail greens, but try Nats Coffee (Golden Bean Winner) also based in Alstonville. They grow & roast their own, & they also source other local growers beans (all of the specially developed K7 cultivar developed for that region).
You could also try Mountain Top Estate near Nimbin ...
Or Zentfelds at Tintenbar (located next to that big tacky Macadamia Castle on the Pacific Highway
)
IMHO, Mountain Top Estate stands out in comparative quality.
Cheers,
Tony

Buying green beans on the North Coast
Hey all,
Just wondering if any css know where I could buy some green beans on the North Coast?
There are beans growing everywhere up here and some of them are quite delicious. I have recently bought a cs100 coffee roaster, and would love loooove to roast some local beans.
Any feedback would be appreciated......
