Im gunna build a bean cooler similar to the one Thundergod thunk up, which theoretically should suck the heat outa them before they go nuclear...I hope

It may have been alluded to before, but you can put the collander INSIDE a stainless steel bowl, then heat from the top, stirring.  The SS bowl will better hold the heat under the collander.  When youre done, pull out the collander and place it on your cooling fan.

          Whats wrong with plungers?  ;D

Just because espresso is [sarcasm] "King" [/sarcasm] it doesnt mean you cant enjoy coffee in all its forms (plunger, drip, syphon, espresso etc.)

          edit: Off topic I know

            Not entirely off topic.

I did a deliberate roast last week with Plunger in mind. PNG Wahgi to a lighter roast than espresso. Tastes fairly good in a Plunger (in my modest opinion ) but I tried it in an Espresso and it was average. Roasting tomorrow same bean into 2nd crack for espresso.

Tried a few of the CS Espresso brews in plunger and they were average but in a Vac Pot were great.

Lots more playing needed with all coffee toys, but the Plunger is now last on my list

The PNG wahgi was my favourite by a long shot out of the brown bean sample pack I tried over the last few weeks.
Im hopin to get some as green beans in the future.

Currently waitin for my green bean sampler to arrive (monday hopefully) but dunno if it contains any wahgi yet. Fingers crossed
