Hi All,
Been popper roasting for a while now, and decided to up the anti to a coretto so I dont have to roast as often.
Ive bought a few parts to build it. So far Ive got:
Rounded Stainless Steel Bowl
12V DC power supply
12V, 70 RPM motor
Air Gun
Double end Clamp
Bench
So thats almost it.. unfortunately I cant find anything good to use to attach to the motor to churn the beans when I turn it on. Heres the motor I got: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=YG2732&CATID=&keywords=12v+moto r
Has anyone done this before? What did you use for the blade? Im also not sure where to drill a hole for the thermocouple Im sure the blade will hit it. I want the blades to be as close to the bottom of the bowl as possible to be able to curn all the beans.
How about chaff collecting? Any ideas? Or do you all just let it fly all over the place...
Thanks for all your advice.
Pete
