Hi guys,
Im wondering if any of you can help me. Recently i cleaned the tip out of my steam head nozzle on my EM6910, it wasnt all that dirty as i always purge and wipe after frothing. So after poking it with a paperclip and purging i attempt to froth my milk.
To my discust i find that the milk struggles to get any air into it and the steam pressure fluctuates causing the milk to swirl irratically which leads to large bubbles that cannot be reduced, ultimately leading to me tipping the milk down the sink.
Heres the thing, I had a similar problem about a year ago when the 6910 was new (I had been using a EM6900 for about 1.5 years prior which has a similar wand, so im ruling out that i was a newbie)
Only a week ago i was able to pour nice rosettas with a smooth meranguie microfoam.
It seams to me that the steam hole may be too large but it becomes just right after it gets a little clogged with milk cake (i know what your thinking....eeeeeewwwe)
Anyhow, does anyone know why this is happening?
