So my wife was telling me how "the coffees I make dont taste as nice as when you make them". So to get to the bottom of the issue, I asked her to make a coffee for me..
Anyhow, she started with pouring the milk in the cup itself (wtf??) and heated the milk - anyhow beside the fact it ended up looking like a total mess the taste was really bitter and I actually couldnt drink it, which surprised me as the beans are nice and fresh.
So I made a cup using the same beans & milk but with proper milk texturing (and showed her to right way to texture while I was at it) - tasted it and it tasted soo much better, alot sweater..
I never realised it was soo important to get the milk right - just thought id share my epiphany..
