Re: Milk Jug 750ml ??
$2 shops can be handy, I got a great squat jug that I use when making iced coffee as it fits perfectly under the PF when locked into the grouphead. It also comes in handy when making a coffee for OGs thermo mug for drinking in the car when he goes to karate in the evenings. I had looked everywhere for one in the kitchen supply shops, but they were all too tall and i had to tilt them and risk losing some f the precious liquid within. [smiley=shocked.gif]

Re: Milk Jug 750ml ??
thanks all, believe it or not the local $2 shop had a heap of frothing jugs. Obviously the stainless quality is questionable, but they are quite heavy and brushed finish. Found one for $9.95 and measures 650ml.
I actually remeasured the one that came with my machine and it is only 400ml , for some reason I thought I measured 2x250ml cups but I must of got that wrong. So obviously a 600ml will just do the trick for now. If this one turns out to be crappy Ill just go get another 600ml.

Re: Milk Jug 750ml ??
I mostly use my 300ml jug.
Im actually going to get a second one.
If I really need to make two capps at once then my 600ml is fine.
I would imagine a 500ml would not be, as Id come up short on milk if I couldnt stretch it the extra 100.

Re: Milk Jug 750ml ??
the italian jug on that site is good for pouring latte art and its great to get the whirlpool method going. Also milk will always taste better in smaller jugs like the 500 tp 600 mls. You will get a creamy texture in the 500 ml or 600ml jugs. So best thing to do...use two smaller jugs so milk will always be great. Easier to change your mug!!!

Oh ok mate,
I guess you have tried the other site sponsors too then? Most of them sell accessories to match with the hardware they have on display....

Re: Milk Jug 750ml ??
thanks Mal, I did go there before I posted. That was the $60 italian one. The only other sizes in the cheaper range were 600 ml , 1 L , 1.5L

Milk Jug 750ml ??
Hi friends
I have a milk frothing jug that came with my machine which is 500ml. If I want to make a large mug of hot chocolate the milk jug is not enough in volume and the milk spills over the top. Sometimes too if I want to make multiple coffees itd be good to froth two at a time. You cant do that with the 500ml jug of course, so I need new jugs.
I have visited a few kitchen stores and the best I can find is 600ml (which is more or less the same as 500ml) and then the next size is 1LT. I think the 1LT is to deep because the wand on my machine is only about 6cm. 1LT would be fine for several cups but normally I am doing one or two tops. I cant seem to be able to find 750ml or thereabouts in affordable price range. I noticed on one site they had a professional series for $60. That is not what I want to spend on a jug. Do cheaper 750ml jugs exist?Tags: None
