hi Jolt, I am on my 2nd day with my BES860. Having fun with my first machine. Yes I am also finding not much froth. Im using a thermometor and its plenty hot enough but Im makeing flat whites as opposed to cappuccino. I also dont use the "froth enhancer". It couldnt be blocked after 2 days use could it?

i took the whole arm and put it overnight in boiling water.
I guess a special purpose cleaner probably will do a better job.

understood, but the cheaper Cafe roma used to do better froth.
Is this possible or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, Ive tried a couple more times with the tube, and it seems to do bubbles more than microfoam, so I wont be using it.

Since I bought the machine used Im conrcened whether theres something wrong with it. so ideally id like to hear from other fresca owners out there on their experiences.

Not too much forth, and took a while to heat the milk.

Could it be a problem with the machine, or needing cleaning?

    thanks for the help
The Fresca is only a small machine with a little pump, so its going to take a while. Absolutely normal. Personally I wouldnt use the frothing tube, but thats me.

    Enjoy your machine.

Today I found an attachment on the box called a froth enhancer or something.
I used it and it did improve, and was not bad at all.
The problem is with that it makes it difficult to clean.
Will try again without it and post results.

    Breville BES860 Fresca frothing questions.

    Hi all
just picked up a used Breville fresca today, and tried pulling a few cappuccinos.

Coffe was very nice, and quite superior compared to my very basic cafe roma.

But I couldnt get it to froth right.
Not too much forth, and took a while to heat the milk.

Could it be a problem with the machine, or needing cleaning?

    thanks for the help
