Hi Coffeesnobs,
I am still crawling along in my coffee journey, and currently using soy milk due to the new babys allergies.
I have tried a few Vitasoy varieties before hitting Bonsoy at last. I read Bonsoy was supposed to be most favoured by many coffee people but because of the cost, I gave other soy milk types a go first just in case I might like them enough. I shouldnt have bothered with the others. Bonsoy has better taste (no overly nutty mouthfeel) and textures so much finer, and easier. I am using only my old Mia and occasionally my stovetop La Sorrentina but I got nice, rolling and shiny microfoam with Bonsoy the very first time I used it. So Im another convert and a big fan of Bonsoy.
The problem with Bonsoy is that it doesnt come with plastic twist cap and youre supposed to cut one of the flaps on the carton to open it. It says to "shake well before opening" so I try but you cant really shake much before opening as theres no air in the carton. After opening, I try pinching the cut flap with fingers and folding down the flap before I shake the carton, but I get soy milk all over the place. If you use Bonsoy, do you shake it each time you use it? I get a little bit of sediment at the bottom when I am finishing a carton.
I wish Bonsoy came with a nice twist plastic cap like many UHT cartons do so I can shake it well, and close it against any food smell in the fridge.
Does anyone do anything to your Bonsoy carton to make it a little more user friendly?

. Yep the simplest things. Tall glass widemouth bottle with lid would be perfect for shaking, dishwasher, visibility etc too, as you say.
