As a complete newbie to this whole espresso process I have a very limited idea as to what im doing with pretty much everything. I can however make what I consider to be an OK tasting brew. I purchased a Sunbeam EM6910 last week and Im having a great time learning how to use it (learning being the operative word!). What Id like to know though is do you need to use a spoon to combine the froth with the remaining liquid after frothing to create that creamy texture? or does this sound like Im not frothing enough i.e should the liquid be creamy throughout?. I have read about the techniques to use and can create a nice froth on top of the milk but when I pour the liquid comes out looking pretty much like normal milk and the foam trails behind (or requires spooning into the cup to have a creamy top). Ive had my fair share of Barista made coffee and have had some great coffee (Its amazing how they can vary tho!) and the thing I like the most is that creamy texture they can create. Teach me
