I havent got the wand yet - we have a wedding coming up in which my daughter is a bridesmaid so dresses, hair ,make up etc have to be paid for so it is now on the backburner.
Mean bean, I havent had a service done on my machine in two years since I got it and it should be done every twelve months. I will be getting mine done through a specialty coffee shop here in Adelaide. If you are in Melbourne or one of the cities that the site sponsors are in (we dont have a machine related sponsor here in Adelaide) I am sure one of them can help you.
Thundergod: meaning what? a bigger angle? Actually the angle of the jug doesnt affect the angle between the wand and the milk, so what is the purpose of keeping the jug angled anyway?
The angle of the jug affects the way the steam hits and bounces of the wall of the jug. The force of the steam doing this pushes the milk around causing it to swirl and fold incorporating the air into the milk, giving you a microfoam.
The angle of thhe jug affects how well this happens.

anyone bent a Lelit / Nemox / Imat ?
I think the problem will be the way that the Lelit wand attaches to the machine. Ive noticed that most of the other machines have the wand attaching to the valve (or pipe) just proud of the casing. You can access the nut to remove it. The Lelit attachment point is inside the casing and not easily reached.
It would be handy know what the tube diameters, thread pitches etc were for the various wands to help with mods. Does anyone have a source for this kind of info?
