  • Which pitcher for latte art?

    Hi all,

Am in the market for a new pitcher, my current has a wide spout making it difficult to get fine markings in a Rosetta - although not impossible

Generally make 2 cups at a time, cap/latte and a long macc, occasionally 3.

Suggestions on a pitcher/jug suited for latte art?

    Cheers,
    Kyle.

I haven't used one yet. But I think the Rattleware handle free pitcher would be really good for latte art (Rattleware Handle Free Bell Pitcher 500ml - Di Bartoli). The fact that it doesn't have a handle, and is insulated means you can hold it more tightly, and get a lot more control over the pour. It's probably my next jug!

      Hi David,

I suggest you try this one first if at all possible.

I played with some early ones ad they were terrible- with the spout actually catching the pour which then ran down the body of the jug. I understand that there has been some modification.

Basic Rattleware jugs are excellent as are Motta.

Thanks for that Chris. I definitely will try before I buy.
