    Re: latte art pouring problem

    Hi again

Nope I never sprinkle anything, I prefer clean cappas

I know that my latte art is far from amazing, but Im slowly gaining more experience and honing my skills. My new technique included flushing steam until the heating element turns on, closing the valve, waiting 15s and then steaming. This method produces steam with a bigger "kick", but I kind of prefer the steam I get when flushing the wand only for a couple of seconds. Its easier to inject air when the heating element is off and also better to swirl and mix the milk when the element kicks in (and it goes on in the middle of the steaming process).

Heres another one I did today:

One thing I did is to hold the cup a bit angled when pouring the milk in the first stage. This way I can pour into the deepest place and everything goes under the crema, until the moment when I start creating the leaves.

    Cheers,
    dsc.

Heres one of my favourite pours. Its not that impressive, but the reason I like it is that its my first attempt at a rosetta on a piccolo.

This is my favourite flat white that I have poured.
