    You know what?

I have used enough milk to feed a third world country in the past week,

trying my hand at making pretty designs on the top of warm milk,

so far I am an expert at the abstract type of work .......little known in professional areas but a

well kept secret to those just starting out.

I find it rewarding to know that my designs are unique not your typical run of the mill

rosettas, hearts and the like, I am hoping to muck a few up in the next decade or two and

produce a heart or Rosetta or two,

I will post pics when this happens!!!

    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D 8-)

Craig - I think this is a great thread that youve started. I could post dozens of pics that would be on-topic.

How about posting some pics of our failures here?

            Re: Latte stuffups

My favourite, and regular, personal stuff up is when I am concentrating on the pour so hard that I get a kind of tunnel vision and lose sight of the depth of the cup - next thing I know is that Im running out of cup and coffee is spilling everywhere.

Maybe I could catch that on video, bypass youtube, and send it in to one of those funniest home video shows and make a motza?

I am now a danger to global warming,

The amount of electricity wasted on my abstract latte art is HUGE!!

                    Re: Latte stuffups

I was served some "art" the other day that I reckon I could have sold on ebay as a Jar Jar Binks painting. Should have taken a photo, but drank it instead...

                      and a skyscraper!

                      Maybe I am just delusional

I am yet to see anyone perform one of My Cherry Blossum Trees. (I think Rosettas are on there way out anyway)

                              lol
i didnt realise you could learn to make an apple... I accidentally made one for my mum on friday when she came to visit. She was very impressed, pointed it out and asked if i was now doing courses to try and learn latte art. I laughed and said um no, thats just what i poured.

Must have been that mum brain of mine looking past the cup, oh well maybe i might fluke one again some day when im scatter brained... hehehe
