Just wondering if anyone here is familiar with this so called milk frothing device.
I was given this machine as a wedding gift, and it produces a reasonable espresso.
I havent been able to have much success using the cappuccinatore - i believe it is supposed to draw off milk froth from milk placed in a receptacle, and has a small pin allowing adjustment for froth quantity

Would be gratful for any advice from those who have any familiarity with this component.

    How you going there GB.

What machine or model saeco are you using?

The cappuccinatore is a simple but effective device. You are right, it will pull the milk out of a recepticle, heat and also add air to the milk.

    Tips:
1.If you want more air for a cappucino, you pull up the pin at the top. But if you are after a flat white or latte make sure the pin is all the way down as it will still add air in this position.

    2. After pushing the button to extract the milk wait until you see the milk climb up and through the tube and when it is about to come through and into the cup place your cup underneath overwise it will make your coffee watery.

P.B. One down fall is that if it is milk straight out of the fridge you will get a nice warm to hot coffee. Which is great for us who enjoy the flavour of a great coffee, but some people prefer it hot!

I use one of these and love it, if the coffee is a bit cool for your liking then run the milk back into itself for say 10 seconds for a single server Cap and then into the Cup, this acts as a pre heater. The Froth is perfect, better than any coffee shop I have been too.So much so I want to buy another cappuccinatore for my other Saeco that came without one. Anyone know where I can buy one ?
