Im having a great deal of trouble with using the work Saeco vertical steam wand that points straight down into the jug (no frothing attachment).
Im used to my home one being angled (from which latte art microfoam comes every time), and I just cant seem to get the trick right with this one. I end up with small dishwashing bubbles (admittedly nothing near the 2.5cm bubbles left in the jug in the fridge when I get to it :P).
I cant get the ch-ch-ch sound very well, I do use the steam at a lower level trying to get a whirlpool - perhaps I should try fully open and getting a rolling movement instead?
Any ideas?

He was pretty happy with his fluke too. I could only hear it from where I was sitting, and it sounded like stick the wand in, take the wand out, stick the wand in... the jiggle thing.
