Surely not! I know there are some diabolical cafes out there, but I dont think you can blame these guys. I havent seen the "finger-luma" technique being used or cafes keeping a number of portafilters in the freezer (for the "freeza-porto" technique - from the ancient Greek, to freeze the portafilter ;D).
But then again I havent really been looking, although the 45sec "fast pour" did seem familiar... hmmm, maybe youre right, AM.
(I know its been up here before, but I didnt realise 4 times - well done, Java "Doesnt miss a trick!" phile. Still, always been worth a chuckle for me.)
