Re: Advice on starting up a Cafe

A bit of a search through the forum would also bring up past topics that had extensive discussion about starting up a cafe. There was one such thread in the General Discussion a while ago, from memory.

But, I also think that this is CoffeeSnobs and not StartingUpACafeSnobs...so please dont expect there to be an answer to every single question you have.

hey moto, sounds a bit like the underpants gnomes business plan -

    Phase 1: Collect Underpants
    Phase 2: ?
    Phase 3: Profit

except I guess you change Phase 1 to sell coffee
Depends how strong the 2nd hand underwear black market is going these days.

Taos might I suggest you ask more specific questions? What youre asking covers an insanely large number of potential topics from stock to rent to legal requirements to marketing. I do not believe many people are willing to write an essay on everything.

    And welcome to Coffee Snobs!

    Number 1. Making money.
Number 2. Making enough money to justify the hours.
