    Re: TV coffee

I remember seeing a james bond movie dont know what one but James bond made someone a coffee with a lever machine. Shot first add milk cold and then steam the whole lot!!!! I noticed that very early in my coffee days. Funny thing is that I probably wouldnt have noticed if a gunman was staring in the window on that scene because my focus was on the coffee!!!!

Yes, I caught that last night as well...what an awful gusher of an extraction it was and then when I saw the milk frothing, I wondered if it wasnt all meant to be a bit of a joke!

But no...thats how they drink espresso in America it seems... : ;D

IIRC at the end of the last series Castle says hes leaving.
Beckett asks for assurance hes leaving the espresso machine behind.

sitting here with the tv on but not really paying attention.  heard a familiar sound and looked up to see the bloke in Castle locking a group handle into an espresso machine of some sort.  Eyes nearly popped out of my head when I see the extraction of what looks like dirty bath water, then follows it up with steaming milk with massive bubbles overflowing out the top of the milk jug, when he has to leave before drinking it he gives it to another bloke who apparently nearly burns his hand when he grabs the cup.  A few years ago I wouldnt have noticed that sequence... being a CS is great
