  • Re: What do Coffee Snobs do for a crust

Im a recruitment consultant specialising in science jobs. Been at it for 3 years and prior to that worked in medical research for 12 years.

My proudest coffee achievement was converting a colleague who swore he did not drink coffee as it made him ill. One day I talked him into trying one of my coffees.....a few days later he bought himself a machine & grinder for home and now drinks nearly as much as I do.

Right now I work a couple of days a week teaching disadvantaged young people computer skills. The rest of the time I run my own video production business doing mostly training and how-to videos. I also do a bit of audio engineering for a podcast network in the U.S.

If I can find any spare time, Ive been known to exhibit the odd bit of projection art at local galleries and regularly sell digital fantasy art featuring fairies, dragons and/or half naked women.

In the past Ive been a musician, a book keeper, a teacher, a retail manager, a writer, a photographer, a software developer, and an IT consultant.

                        Cheers

Weve been up here (2360 then 2352) for 4.5 years. While coffee enthusiasts since forever we are new to the world of diagnosed coffee snobbery, culminating in the delivery of our Rancilio S24 today! Big for our kitchen but should do OK for the church and community events we wanted it for. Love it when hobbies overlap with other passions.
