Im a newb from Brisbane.  A few months ago I moved to this city from the Gold Coast, have lived in Melbourne in the past where I delighted in the likes of St Ali and Brother Baba Budan.....and didnt imagine I could enjoy anything like it....

Until I discovered Cup in West End, and talking to Josh realized that amazing coffee DOES exist in Brisbane!  I was so excited that I ended up starting a social group with the aim of introducing the undiscerning coffee drinkers of Brisbane to the flavour and experience of specialty coffee, while meeting new people along the way.

So I thought Id say hi here, I really know very little compared to most of you.  Im on a coffee educational journey, and I want to make the experience of coffee a joy for all the members of my group.

There is a Green Bean pickup that should happen on or about the 28th of this month..

I and others should be there to collect our green beans from Veneziano Caffe in West end and a chance to meet with other like minded people...

Hi guys, Im the new kid on the block. Move to Melbourne from Sydney over a year ago. Been making coffees for a very long time. Travelled the world trying different coffees. IM ADDICTED!
Its in my blood...

Im starting a coffee drive thru business. Found a very busy position which is perfect location. I will get confirmation on site tomorrow. ( fingers crossed) :-X
I have been stressed out trying to decide what coffee to use and would like to know what you guys think is the best company to go with for quality of coffee and service( looking for the perfect package).

Any help?

Hello everyone,
Im a newbie from Brisbane.  So is this the site for coffee addicts? My coffee journey began with my first trip to melbourne a couple of years ago & never in my life I have tasted delicious coffee.  So from then on I was subconsciously trying to find great coffee in brisbane. So far I found Eros in west end & is actually quite good. My journey continues...

I found this site when I was googling the aero press so I decided to register & educate myself more on the humble bean.

If you are chasing good coffee there are three highly rated on Beanhunter under Most Popular.
Have not tried Brisbane cafes but the Melb ratings are pretty accurate

Hi everyone,

Found this site while googling for info on what grinder to buy.
Since then Ive found a decent Coffee shop in Adelaide (BAR9), refined my barista skills, modded my equipment and developed a much stronger appreciation for the drink that was already my favorite beverage.

All this would never have happened if I hadnt stumbled across these forums.

So thank you all and I look forward to the years ahead.

Hi all,

just like to introduce my self and tell you a bit of my background

im albert gunawan, been hanging around CS for a few months since i got my self a gaggia classic (and the steam wand modded thanks CSs posts to the thread). then getting a preloved Rancilio Silvia about a month ago from a fellow Perth CS. bought a new Ibertal Challenge and now using a 2nd hand Ascaso i-mini. getting great freshly roasted coffee from local roasters here in Perth thanks to the info given on the boards.

i used to go to highschool and uni in perth. but im actually based in jakarta, where i run a family owned photo lab & digital printing place.

im in perth with my wife and whole family at the moment, since were expecting our first child hopefully by next wednesday. which means i will be getting sleepless nights and need the good old Java on the mornin.

anyways i wanna say a big big thank you for all the kind hearted people here in CoffeeSnob and keep up the great spirit that this place has with its open minded and very welcoming attitude with people who just love their coffee.
