Ive had the odd word with the equipment -- but what transpires is not repeatable in polite company.
The "conversation" is usually followed by a coffee flowing down the sink.

Ah yes Robusto, I think Ive had similar discussions!
And Wushoes, consider this...almost all children speak to themselves, and/or have imaginary friends. The elderly do it too. Its only as adolescents and adults that this seemingly inherent human trait either disappears, or as I suspect, is knocked out of us as its thought to be anti-social. I also happen to beieve that this is one reason why mobile phones are so popular - we can now have a conversation, on the train, walking down the street, etc. and perhaps there are a few, who arent actually speaking to anyone...welcome to psychology 101

Yep know what you mean.... it has been quite a while now since I had such a conversation..... but I remember that very well with a German piece of coffee making equipment I had some years ago.... It probably thought it was going to win as well...... it did in a way - went to the big retirement home with other equally useful equipment....
I had a impolite conversation with my brugnetti the other night after hours of trying to remove those screw and then slipping and taking all the skin to the bone off my little finger
Dont know about the equipment but I find the milk cleaning solution mixed 20 to 1 does a great job on chrome, just dont leave it in for more than a few minutes or it will tarnish it.
