    Re: A Lovely Sunday Arvo!

I had an engineer strengthen the frame and 2 steering dampers so mine was pretty solid. But I had a few scary moments but lived to ride again. I have been looking for an old 900 out of nostalgia but they are getting expensive so I may have to settle for a Harley look a like or the real thing. :

The wife has even agreed to the purchase just have to get the bank to agree.

Well, Ray, being a mod doesnt mean I necessarily left my sense of humor at the door.

Actually speaking of humour...havent seen Remy around for a few days.

Greg, thats a great shot. She really is a nice ride. Good to see you sharing it with someone too!

Since lawn mowers never get a mention and there is always Bike Racing, lawn mowers that are modded to race i think count as motorbikes (they make enough noise anyway)yeah its the start of a new topic, duh) Seriously you should contemplate a Sunday drive around some bends in your garden, makes a nice change. ;D

                          Re: A Lovely Sunday Arvo!

I took my older boys and some of their mates to a mower race meet just north of bundy it was run by the local mower shop boys and some blokes from hervey bay as well, the only thing was, they didnt look much like mowers anymore, but go they did, you would want to have your insurance well paid up, it was a lot of fun, some of them had bike motors in them, clutches, gearboxes the lot, you would have to see it for yourself to truly appreciate the further of it.

                          Ray.

If you have a very, very close look at that photo above, Im actually in it, Ray. Im on the ride on behind the third one from the left. Our modifieds didnt have bike engines or gearboxes, the guys wanted them to be as close to a mower as they could still be and go very fast! Which they did.
