Lordy Lizzi - that bus is big enough for a 3 group machine!

Javaphile - Im going to try the CP for decaf. I make a small roast for Sue and usually end up throwing most of it out. Using CP will give her a supply on tap.

            Re: coffee on the road

that is not a "but, rather a sure "bet", JB!!!
there is a fine balance (literally!!) between "his and hers" with maximum weight in the vehicles being at stake... welder against filing cabinet, 9" grinder against sewing machine, toolboxes against microwave and washing machine., book collection against piano accordeon...
i reckon i could put up my coffee stuff against his motorbike???? :-/

              Re: coffee on the road

Surely the coffee equipment should be cosidered gender neutral... common territory essential to the household. Since you both benefit fro it.

(9" grinder -- thats "extreme machine " serious for any backyard shed, let alone a mobile one)

The problem is Robusto - Lizzis other halfs only benefit from Lozzis coffee pursuit is a happy Lizzi

As far as I can recall from my last visit he doesnt imbibe.....

                  Re: coffee on the road

coffee equipment would be neutral ... if both enjoyed the spoils equally!
Rob drinks... (uhhmmm, major squirm here...) Bushells chicory essence and only has the occasional affogato or an even more rare capp.

9" angle grinders are really handy... you can cut firewood with it, or trim high tensile bolts...and according to Rob it i a "mans tool"... it has got GRUNT!!
i suppose the  vice could be put against the Carimali....about the same weight...

                  edit; very astutely observed, JB!!

                      Re: coffee on the road

I had a similar problem when I started talking large machine....

Even though my other half loves coffees - it was "not in my kitchen"... :-[

Now she proudly shows off the machine to her groups of female friends.... and they all enjoy the coffees...

                      So Im "on clover" ;D ;D ;D

Keeping our wives (thats singular, as in monogamous) happy is our raison detre. JavaB. A happy wife makes for a peaceful home and by virtue, a happy husband.

If the way to procure a 9" angle grinder for Him is via the circuitous route of a coffee grinder for Her, fair enough I say.

oi, what about the Peerless 200A arc welder, the 2Hp air compressor with air pop-rivetter, air rattle gun and air-solastic gun, high pressure cleaner.....
makes my Turbo-oven look rather minimalistic....

Im sure Rob is surrounded by his tools only to keep you in the style you want to be accustomed to, Lizzi. A labour of love. :-*

(Still, I reckon a MIG welder would probably be more practical, as well as being smaller, lighter. Perhaps a bargaining chip for a future Hers acquisition, Lizzi)

                              Robusto,

Believe me Lizzi is no slouch when it comes to the use of power and hand tools..... a lot of the work in their bus is her handy work - and very well done too!!

She would put many of we males to shame with her ability... so its very much a Lizzi / Rob partnership.....
