Thankyou GM, I am very pleased with them. My Camera is starting to get a bit old now, but it still does some lovely macro pics.

My fantasy is to get an SLR with super macro, but I would have to win the lottery to get it.

I just thought Id add some more photos I took this morning.

This is how our pot garden currently looks. It is a bit scrappy as it has been attacked by these green caterpillers that ate most of the herbs. Thats the price you pay for having an organic garden I suppose

This is a mini garden that was planted in a large hydroponics tub (these are expensive!!) we have basil, cherry tomatoes and cos lettuce.

This is a wild stawberry that is hanging in a pot, the wild strawberries are delicious

Most of the couch-based lawns in Perth thatch up very quickly due to warm weather, too much fertilising and water etc so they need a therapeutic shave back to almost nothing to rid them of all the built up thatch. Vertimowing is another method of removing thatch and reinvigorating lawns. Spring time is when we do these jobs to get the lawns pristine for summer.
PS: Im home today because weve got thunder storms and rain!!!!!!!!!
    cheers

Hi Sarg your clay soils and the measures you have to take to plant is totally different to here on the coastal sand plain of Perth.
Our soils dont hold moisture very well and you have to add heaps of organic matter to build up the soil and retain water, the use of soil wetting agents on gardens and lawns is a necessity to help water retention. I have been full-on preparing all of my jobs for spring, mulching, scalping back lawns to dethatch them, festilising etc etc........

    cheers
    Trevor
