I know I could do it with ice but I like mine as shots on icscream and milk

Only a couple of days more outside then I am pulling the pin till I finish the refurb on the 1grp La San Marco for inside the tiny shop. Doing it mobile is still hard work especcially when it gets windy and hot.

or any country pub/cafe/bakery/<insert offender here>
Thats a generalisation that I dont appreciate. : Our standard for a country bakery is probably above a lot of your city establishments quite frankly. So, please, give the country some credit.

Amen to that! Will post something soon in the good coffee where section re Fingal, Tassie where we had a pretty good coffee in a town with a population of just 500 that absolutely trounced anything offered in any of the major towns and cities there.

sorry scoots, maybe bakeries in country NSW are beter than in Vic. I shouldnt generalise, maybe im just too fussy with my coffee.

On the plus side, every coffee I had between Sydney and the Hunter were superb

I dont care that you are tapping on the door and want to show me the clock on your mobile phone because it says its 3 or 4 minutes before closing time, is linked to a satellite, so cant possibly be wrong.

You probably have to be here for this one but...

This afternoon a fellow swim coach came into the shop...I needed to speak with them about some training issues. Meanwhile, Id forgotten that Id been asked to make a cup of hot chocolate...

                The shop phone rings.

It is the hot choc customer...

Well, two can play this game...

I go to make the said drink and meanwhile, get the hot choc customers phone number from his wife who is currently employed at the bakery and ring him back to say "your hot chocolate in a cup is being made NOW!"  ;D

The usual select few visitors popped in to the shed last Saturday and anyone who wanted some Yemen received their coffee made to their specs- and on the house as per usual...

One of the "visitors" decided that he needed the Coava DISK out of my demo Aeropress more than I did.

I feel sad for the thief- as I would have been happy to trust him with a pay when you can rather than have him steal.

                            Happened today....

Customer: Do you still have the Christmas Blend?

Me: Ah no, we only do the Christmas Blend at Christmas

Customer: Oh Are you going to have Christmas in July this year?

Me: We havent decided yet as to whether were going to have Christmas in July or in December. Were going to take a vote sometime in May.
