Re: CoffeeSnobs and BeanBay upgrade status.

I just tested on yours above... you are right!

    Its a feature.

Any edit inside 60 minutes will not say "edited".

A user can only edit or remove their post within 1 day... after that it can only be removed by a moderator.

That is to stop threads becoming unreadable.

      Thanks for checking and confirming.

Interesting behaviour. An edit by the user within 60 minutes should be able to go through unnoticed, however, if a moderator makes an edit, at anytime, that should be clearly marked both from the post status information and also by the moderator inside the post.

Re: CoffeeSnobs and BeanBay upgrade status.

Trust me, moderators have far better things to do with our time than to edit and remove peoples posts. If you talk about coffee and its processes without plugging businesses or offending anyone then you should never have a post edited. Easy!

The 60 minutes is also to allow you to fix typos etc without people wondering what was removed.

1: RSS feeds includesyour private e-mail address !!!
Now, fixed. It would only show an email address that was marked for public view in your [profile] (which is now called [User CP] User Control Panel)

Everyone should go through their [UserCP] and check the options anyway, sigs, footers, details etc.

Just noticed the "Signature" line is now limited to 200 characters.
Ive edited my equipment list to "front line" only now.

                I had the same problem
So I reset my password via the forgot my password button
It now works as I am writing this post

One thing I do like is the "Home, Board, Top of page" buttons at the bottom of the page this is a godsend Andy

It appears to have become case sensitive so maybe you did the uppercase JB to get it.

I know I have to type Andy now when andy worked previously.
(I was pretty worried at about 5am when I couldnt get back in!!!)

(Im lovin the Mark and Quote)

How many do you think it should it be?
200 looks like enough info without it becoming "screen real estate abuse". I can make it bigger but do we really want to?

                  Im open to opinions.

                    BeanBay doesnt work?

Love the RSS. Immediate re-edit to correct mistakes that make me look like an idiot good too.

Edited (because I can) to add: smaller sigs good, bigger sigs bad.

Cool. I think everyone will find features for weeks.

You can upload avatar images now too.
