..or should that be Java "Are we over Kansas yet Dorothy" phile.

Glad to hear the most heavily damaged bit wasnt yourself or *gasp* the new roaster!
Indeed! It was a very strange storm. The tornado was actually moving in the opposite direction of the system. There were no warning signs of it of any kind. Even after the fact theyre still not sure just how it was produced! The weirdest part of it for me was that I was actually standing watching the storm system move in from the 2nd story of my house with my windows wide open and had no clue there had even been a tornado at all let alone one with-in a couple hundred meters of me until a friend called to ask if I was OK! The power went out when it hit and so I had no outside info and I hadnt seen nor heard anything that would have led one to believe thered been a tornado. On my block hardly a leaf was out of place. Yet only a block away meter diameter trees were being tossed around like toothpicks! A small lightweight plastic trash bin (like for a bathroom) was in my driveway through the whole thing and never moved. Heck, it didnt even blow over! Yet 100 meters away trees were down and roofs had been ripped off! A very freaky storm!

    Java "Still amazed!" phile

I almost got a chance to exchange the secret CS gang signs with yall today as I nearly managed to hitch a ride to Oz: http://www.startribune.com/galleries/53727487.html The most heavily damaged area is all of a couple hundred meters from my house.

I think you and I played "lets make sly glances" but neither of us were sure as to who was who
Why yes we did, perhaps the bright red shirt was not enough.

The CS gang, unfortunatly the photos above are just to cool for school for me.   ;D

Ok... I will be in Mel next Thursday Evening...

Do not know where I am staying yet...  But will be keeping a sharp eye out for any and all Gang hand signals...

we need a secret hand shake /  code sign

this could be "are you in CS?"

and the reply could be "yes i am" (thats not me)

So I was at Dibella last Thursday avo, after moving house and needing a stiff one (coffee that is) and a face I recognise but just cant place walks through the door.

Anger Management, was that you who walked into the training room just as Tim Adams and Kate (sorry Kate I dont know your last name) from Pioneer Roastery also walked through into the roasting section?

Im thinking it was, but cant be sure
Yep.. Just look at my Avatar ;D

Had a good chat to Tim and good to see him on his feet and enjoying his time in his new role..

Asked if he was going to compete again.... Ummmmmmm A few months / weeks ago.. NO WAY.... However he is open to the future and where it all might lead..

Ann had some new beans in and I am looking to attend teh cupping on the 22nd ... Should be GOOD....

PS. Just got in from a server crash... Medical people just dont understand why ya have to leave when doing a rebuild; to get a coffee (need o pack my preso in teh car as part of my service kit)... As if you have any control over time and speed when restoring a large complicated server image and trying to ensure full data security etc etc... 8-)

Then teh validation kicks in and those detail issues get in teh way.. Opps I need another coffee... ;D
