    Thats an awesome sign

Not officially xmas presents, but in December I scored a Compak K6 Grinder and Expobar Office Control machine. Also on order is a new tamper (not a Pullman unfortunately.

Hi Krusty, it didnt come without a lot of hard work the trade was all the reno work over the years and careful negotiations highlighting the huge amount of $$$ saved by me doing all the work  :-? plus swmbo is getting a new kitchen and I agreed to pull out the old and do the plumbing and put in a bi-fold (looking forward to that one with the demo saw) Mr Gitto will have to be carefully wrapped up to protect from dust - my work is never ending however she does love the coffee from the new setup so wins to all

Now thats a real modern interpretation--very nice.

Santa (in most cases) seems to know exactly what snobs want, isnt that funny. Even our kids are adding to our kit with things only a snob would know was missing ;D

Not sure how my 6 year old ordered cups from Intelligentsia but theres the mystery of Christmas

              Well done !

Santa brought me a Pullman tamper with a Jarrah handle and a Synesso basket. Nice one Santa Oh and I got some PNG pre-roasted coffee from the Grandparents, it was only roasted 6 months earlier, mmmmmmm fresh, I ground it up and gave it to the inlaws 8-)

                          I got:

Espresso Coffee - The Science of Quality edited by Andrea Illy and Rinantonio Viani. Written very scientifically and looks like a big read. Its more like a collection of long journal articles and definitely not one for my bedside table

Topics include agronomy, green coffee processing, roasting/grinding, packaging, percolating and decaffeination techniques. A comprehensive resource for those interested in the fundamental notions of coffee quality.
                          Read it yet?
It sounds like an interesting read. deffs not for a chilled sunday arvo though!
just wondering how you found it, as im thinking about going out and getting my hands on one.

                          cheers,
                          Matt
