For the Nikon fanboys ...
A Canon lens being used as a thermos is funny but Mr Macs photo has crossed the line people. That Nikon lens is serious camera gear people and I wont have it being used like Canon fodder... or coffee flooded! >

Re: Blend Your Love of Coffee and Photography...
I too have a D200 and loved using an old Ai lenses in Manual Mode. Thanks to the forthought of the Nikon Engineers new photographers can use some pretty amazing older glass. Having said this Canons are great for shooting also... I especially like the loud bang and the smell of the gunpowder! ;-)

What I like about Nikon is the way you can use their older lenses on new digital SLRs, Ive got about a dozen lenses up to 30 years old and can use them all on the D200, what a bonus.
Gotta be careful though as some of the cheaper cameras dont have ttl metering. My dad has a 600mm f5.6 and doesnt work except for on full manual in his D50. On a D200 apparently it is perfect.

The fact is that Canon do make some good lenses. Their cameras are great too. I dont think you have the choice with canon that you do with nikon when it comes to lenses. I also think the canon lenses look about 10 years older in design to the nikons. I think were all over the white/yellow too.
Hows that for a pointless rant!!!!! ;D

Thats about all canon lenses are useful for
Finally, somebody brave enough to say what were all thinking... ;-) I could go on, but as a Nikon owner will just sit in smug satisfaction... Ah....
Ahhhh, the Canon V Nikon war ;D, Im also a Nikon man D200 and shmbo has a D90, do I like em? you bet.
Now having said that Canon make some excellent lenses, look around the boundary of any AFL event and count the Canon glass, I reckon about 98% of sport photographers use em, must be a reason.

I think it is a thermos with a exterior that looks like a camera lens. I dont actually have one, though Im tempted to get it but they did want 70 dollars for it... But how typical that Canon gear is expensive... ;D
