Scarily enough, that actually isnt too far off the mark, KK. ;D

That coffee certainly stayed with me for a long time and played a part in my CS username.

Her reaction was very similar to mine the first time i tried a doppio ristretto.

It was early in my coffee journey and despite not having much of a clue i asked a barista to give me a ristretto, he smiled and said ill give you my specialty, a doppio ristretto.
After one sip i realised why he was devilishly smiling when making the offer. ;D
So that was the inspiration to your CS name
    Ristrom

    Ristr = ristretto
om = Ohh my god   ;D

As to "three doubles and a latte "...  I have twice that ever time I call into Supreme Roasters, let alone what goes before and after  ;D
haha not our fault the universe dictates that we have to try every origin and blend as double ristretto black and same again milk and then subsequent blind tastings there after for cross reference.   ;D

I wonder how much of the coffee drinker market out there actually still believe or think they "drink coffee for the caffiene hit/wake me up".

I think they had the whole, never let the truth get in the way of a good story philosophy going.
As I also believed a ristretto had less caffeine then the normal.

And three doubles and a latte would definitely not kill you, I have drank that amount in a day before.
True.. A good story / PR... You only have to look a Scottys face... would think she just had a big raw chillie :-)

I thought it took ~45 minutes for caffeine to hit the blood stream.

Just long enough for half the match.

the two double rises i take in the morning only seems to need about 5 mins to bring life back to normal. the third shot gives me the kick i am looking for

I thought the theory was there was less caffeine in a Ristretto?
i like it for the taste
