This what I have used mine for. Note of caution - it does have a shelf life, which is extended by keeping in a fridge.

Very effective. You can find recipes on the web for making a cheap version using Silicone sealant and flour - I tried but it was a failure. The Real McCoy works well.

Ordered via the UK site, could not find an Oz distributor.

This sounds like a useful product.
I am always trying to do small tricky jobs that seem to require a tool or material I don't have, so this might be the answer.
I'd be keen to see what you use it for and how effective it is.

I look forward to seeing what you have planned.
Well I bought my wife a Galaxy Tab 3 for her birthday along with a leather folio which was designed for a Tab 2 (ie too big) so I will try using the Sugru to extend the clips that hold the Tab in place.

I've used it to fix dodgy connection on the thermocouple meter. Worked well.

    That's funny Flynn...
it's the beauty of getting older and more forgetful, if you wait a while everything is new again.
    ;-)

I remember reading your original post and thinking "that stuff looks useful" but didn't buy it then. Let us know what it's like... at $500/kg it would want to be good but I expect the high kilo rate is justified if you can do something useful with it.

I look forward to seeing what you have planned.

Ha, I was just about to post that I have just ordered some of this and then a quick search brought about the discovery that I saw it here first.

    sugru.com

Haven't seen it for sale anywhere in Oz
