I think Andy Schleck is the only one who can go with Contador on the big climbs. Contador seems super human as he is among the best in the TT as well...he must drink really strong coffee every morning
Yeah you may be right....but there was a race earlier in the year where Contador couldnt drop Cadel on a big climb and Andy hasnt got Frank either so there will be more pressure on Andy. Can he handle it?

OMG Cadell was in a crash! looks like just road rash I hope he is ok. Commentators 50/50 about whether the big guns will go for it today or wait.
Sheesh Cadel is so unlucky... Lance once said that you cant crash and win the Tour. Although he himself did! (but the crash was going uphill, so very light injuries)
Evans wouldve (shouldve) won in 2008 but succumbed to crash injuries... pleeez, not again.
Already having some time on Contadope, he has a real chance of winning! Thats if he doesnt now feel like hes been hit by a bus!

Contadope...lol...so I am not the only one thinking that way ;D
Well, Im pretty sure he has been on more than caffeine in the past. I think hes (and the peloton in general) a lot cleaner these days. Probably why I think Cadel has his best chance this year!
How ironic (see my last post), Lance has just crashed!! Ouch.. sore back.

Evans bounces back to take yellow
Cadel Evans bounced back from an early scare on the first real mountain stage of the Tour de France to match all his rivals and take possession of the yellow jersey.
Evans, Australias two-time runner-up who finished a disappointing 30th overall in 2009, started the day in second place only 1min 25sec off the pace of Frenchman Sylvain Chavanel of Quick Step.
By the end of the 189km mountain test, which took in the two category one monster climbs of Ramaz and Avoriaz, Evans took the yellow jersey for the first time since 2008 to lead Andy Schleck of Luxembourg, who won the stage, by 20secs.
The Australian knows the hard work will come in the final week of the race which features four punishing days in the Pyrenees, and then a long time trial on the penultimate stage.
But ahead of Mondays rest day, which is followed by a final day in the Alps, the BMC team leader was doubly happy - to still be in the race, and to have the lead.
"I dont know if everyone saw my fall after 6 km. I thought then that the Tour might be over," said Evans, who had to ride most of the 2008 edition hampered by injuries after a crash early in the race.
