Re: iPhone 4 snobs?
Seems half the posters in this thead want to go off topic so I will too.
I hear good things of the Blackberry but didnt like the older versions I used much.
The iphone4 appeals with a big screen (great for web and email) and plenty of apps that only appear for the iphone (at the moment).
Every HTC I have used is cluncky, slow and have horrible interfaces. It looks good on a spec sheet but using it is something else.
The Nexus1 (Google Phone) came close to a goer. I love the idea of noise cancelling and had some good features but the hardware spec is a tad behind the current smart phones.
The Samsung Galaxy S is top of my list at the moment. It runs Googles OS Android and has an amazing screen that is bright, clear and works in sunlight. Andriod apps are being written at a great rate and being open source and I expect will overtake the Apple store offerings in the future.
For July the Galaxy S was an Optus exclusive, as of August 1st the other telcos are allowed to sell it and Ive been waiting to see what happens with the plans.
So... just to get back on topic... the iphone4 does appeal and is not crossed off my list but the Samsung might be just infront.
I REALLY need to ditch my Nokia N73 as it now needs a reboot nearly every day now and the speakers are sounding bad too.
