So far there has been a unhealthy dose of mother nature at play around the world last year and this.
Weve had our share of droughts, floods and earthquakes both here and our neighbour across the tasman. I did not mention fires as i believe most if not all have been started either deliberately or a cigarette butt tossed out by a toughtless human.
Now recently our friends over at Japan are now suffering the consequences of an earthquake and the resulting tsunami that followed.
To think, the stuff that keeps us alive has the power to take away lives.
Most of the damage caused was not from the tremors, but the water that flowed through, destroying everything in its path.
Today, we see the real danger still unfolding from nuclear radiation from 3 units.
I dont think the damage it will cause will be as bad as Chernobyl because graphite was used in the construction of the cores, which combusted, contributing to a greater catastrophe than Japans.
Our thoughts go to them.
Am sure Japan being a proud country will re-build stronger than before.
They have the willpower to do that, being used to tragedy on a regular basis.
I wonder whats next.
Just hope nothing tragic happens to our coffee supplies ehh? :-X
