What worse a pap smear or the evil finger?
A hand, a freezing cold metal instrument and a scraper....from the age of around 18 until around 60 years old at least every other year.

And then, from about 50 onwards (yes, there is about a 10 year crossover, just because we love being tortured so much), we get to go and stick our upper body in a vice and get it squeezed into pancake thinness, sideways.

And we wont even mention childbirth...

I think we win in the long term discomfort stakes! ;D

Bloody hell, Im surprised Im just a caffeine addict, and not an alcoholic!

Not sure that its really a win, sounds more like losing to me. :-/

Anyroad, I figure a little discomfort is worth it to potentially avoid a lot more later in life.

Just educamacating you all, is what Ima doing.... Its what we women do as soon as any man dares mention they may have it worse than us...I would be absolutely kicked out of the Club if I didnt shoot you all down in flames.

            ;D ;D ;D

And definitely it is worth it - be ye man or woman (says someone whos Father in Law died 18 months ago from an 8 year battle with Prostate Cancer, so is very definitely in favour of prevention.)

I never agrue with a woman on that subject (maybe that is why I have been married for 35+years to the same woman).

Prevention is certainly better than the cure in all cases. I do hope coffee is a preventative not a causitive factor. :-/

I refused to shake hands with my doctor after my last prostate exam. Maybe Ill wear gloves next time so that I dont offend him...

The "lubricant" felt like 120 wet and dry. Im still trying to get my eyeballs back in their sockets!

I think the reason women have so manyh discomforts is to make up for the discomfort of men having to put up with women!! Jokes. My girlfriend is fairly high maintenance, so every problem she has is shrugged off as "Thats karma getting ya!"

Hope coffee really does help prostate cancer though, I drink enough coffee im sure ill be very safe!
