True that mine was a Kushler Nail inserted down the length of my femur smack down the middle of the bone right through the marrow and it stayed there for 3 yrs!

Did a pretty good job over all

    Hope you heal well JoeB

ok so its not a motorbike but I just laid my hard earned down for a kees van der westen mirage triplette classico - and Its definitely a classically styled machine - I describe it as looking like a luna buggy from the 1970's ...

    The latest build

The new build is finally on the road so I thought I would share it. It is an 485 Hybrid made with an Aprilia RS250 frame and a Yamaha YVPS 485 motor. The bike is then covered in a nice Carbon Fibre skin, Carbon Fibre BST Wheels, Ohlins suspension and Titanium where possible. Still a few bolts to replace with Ti, but nearly there ;-)

Well today I said a fair well to my VTR1000, 2004 model with 27250 clicks on the clock. Over the last 2 years I have done only 1400 clicks and so I just couldn't justify the rego & insurance to keep it on the road (about 1K).. Another chapter closed but I suspect it will emerge in the future when the kids reach teens...

    Jesseka, you make me jealous!

What an awesome line-up of bikes. Two each of two of my faves - the 916 and 996.

Anyway, Im off to take my Duc wannabe (VTR1000) up the mountain for a nice ride on the twisties.
