However awful the trackie dacks may look they are still preferable to the bike pants on the 20 stone body.

Just put them away in mothballs in the bottom drawer, TG, and you never know, one day.....

Oh, did I not mention the bogan fashion of track suit pants on Saturday mornings at the local shopping centre? Did the bogans not see how ridiculous these cheap throw-ons which should have always been left behind at the, um, track, looked?

It's a shopping centre, I used to mutter through clenched teeth. You're not an athlete--the overhanging belly is a dead giveaway--and you're not trackside.

"I,m gonna pop some tags, and Ive got $20 in my pocket, I-I,m huntin for a dollar, this is f#$!ing awesome....." by Macklemore.

You never know, retro may be coming back, and it's the younger generation that may be the trend setters.

Rivers have a TV promotion at the moment advertising themselves as the cardigan specialists, seems they're all the go this year.

Worry not Barry. Soon you won't need to roast it at all. It's only then that you will truly be in touch with the bean

simply travel to any non-commercial, non-mainstream or alternative lifestyle establishment, shop or area and you will find the breed known as the "hipster". you will then find such things in your list as being the ideal adornment.

Robusto, you need to get out more! haha!

I see at least a couple of people around here who still adhere to the socks and shorts, long socks and leather shoes fashion...and don't get me started on cardigans!

Barry...flared trouser legs are now called "Boot Cut"...

You don't get out enough, Robusto. Long socks with shorts are cool, as long as they are teamed with a pair of masseur sandals.

started a topic It's just not fashionable

    It's just not fashionable

Sometimes fashion goes full circle. Wide tie, narrow tie, wide tie, narrow tie.
But sometime things seems to have disappeared for good.

    Here's a few...

Long socks with shorts (thank God)
    Socks with shorts
    Leather shoes with shorts
    Cardigans
    Button-up flies
    Intimidating, power-dressing women's shoulder pads
    three-piece suit
    Safari suit
    Duffle coats
Working...
