    No worries, didn't mean to hijack your thread. This new news provider is indeed an interesting new entrant. I believe at the moment they're largely syndicating ABC and wire material, but will ramp up their own copy in due course.

    I fully realise this Jonathon, the point of the post was to give Coffee Snobs a heads up to a new and interesting online news service.
    I added the fact that there was no pay wall as a matter of interest, interesting that this was the point you seized on.

    Stumbled on this last night
    News | The New Daily
    Launched on Wed 13th Nov 2013 and run by 3 Australian super funds, looks pretty even handed at the moment, I guess only time will tell if there is any political bias or tabloid sensationalism.
    Its well laid out, easy to read and navigate.
